Dell unveiled eight new color laser-class printers earlier this fall including the 2150 series of single function color laser printers.
The 2150 series consists of the entry level 2150cn and the 2150cdn. Both models feature quick print speeds up to 24 pages per minute with a print resolution up to 600 x 600 dpi, a 400 MHZ processor with 256 MB memory standard and built-in networking but the 2150cdn also includes automatic duplexing.

BUILD AND DESIGN
The Dell 2150cdn is a single function color laser printer, so as you might expect, there isn't much to the design. The 2150cdn won't be winning any awards for the "world's smallest laser-class printers," especially if you add the optional paper drawer, but the box dimensions (approx. 16 x 16 x 16 inches) were on par with competitors in the same class.
The 2150cdn is done in all black and offers a small back-lit LCD with a four-directional navigation and three quick keys on the top of the printer along with the 150-sheet output bin.
Users can access both the 1-sheet multi-purpose tray (good for envelopes, labels, etc.) and the standard 250-sheet paper tray on the bottom front of the 2150cdn. As mentioned, Dell also offers an optional 250-sheet paper tray taking the total capacity up to 501 pages.
Open the right panel to access the four toner cartridges (CMYK). The Dell 2150cdn offers both standard capacity toner cartridges with expected yield of 1,200 pages a cartridge and high capacity toner cartridges with expected yield of 2,500 pages per color cartridge and 3,000 pages per black cartridge.
On the back of the printer, users will find all the connection ports including a Hi-Speed USB 2.0 connection and an Ethernet port for wired networking.
