Kyocera Mita awarded Five Star BERTL rating

Kyocera Mita America received BERTL’s Five Star, Exceptional Rating for its TASKalfa 300i, TASKalfa 420i and TASKalfa 520i black and white multifunction products (MFPs).

The TASKalfa monochrome MFPs earned recognition from The Business Equipment Research and Test Laboratories Inc. (BERTL) for their ability to offer high productivity speeds, class-leading preventative maintenance schedules (300,000 for the 300i and 500,000 for the 420i and 520i products) and industry-leading memory capacity of 2GB of RAM and 160GB hard disk drive. The TASKalfa series also received high marks for print and copy productivity, high image resolution of 60 dpi for optimum image quality, extensive paper supply for the 300i (2,200 sheets) and (4,200 sheets) for the 420i and 520i, as well as document finishing and security features.

BERTL is an independent testing laboratory providing independent product evaluation, reports and comparative analyses on imaging devices and software workflow solutions.

Kyocera Mita’s TASKalfa 300i document imaging is designed for any office environment and delivers output speed of 30 pages per minute (ppm), standard print, network and color scan and optional fax/network fax. The TASKalfa 420i delivers 42ppm and features such as USB print-from and scan-to functionality. The top of the line 520i offers business users 52ppm output speed, according to the company.
