PINNNACLE SPECIFICATIONS:
BUILD AND DESIGN
The lexmark Pinnacle is nearly identical to the Lexmark Prestige in design with a sleek black and gray design, glossy 50-page ADF, 4.3-inch touch screen panel and 150-sheet paper cassette.
The Pinnacle is fairly compact for an all-in-one printer measuring in at approximately 10 x 18 x 15 inches and 20 lbs. With the output tray extended, the dimensions are closer to 10, 18 . 23 inches and users should factor in room above the Pinnacle for lifting the scanner lid.
The 50-sheet automatic document feeder is located on top of the scanner lid and compatible with media up to legal size. An ADF is a great office tool because users can copy, scan or fax large documents while accomplishing other tasks.
The 48-bit flatbed scanner has a maximum scan area up to 8.5 x 14 inches with an optical scan resolution up to 1200 x 4800 dpi.
The Pinnacle features Lexmark’s myTouch technology with a 4.3 inch LCD control panel allowing users one touch access to the main devices, lexmark Smart Solutions apps, settings, and more.
Lift the top half of the printer to access the inside of the Pinnacle and install ink cartridges. Lexmark offers the lowest black ink cost on the market as of this writing: $4.99 for approximately 510 pages with the 105XL cartridges. Lexmark offers both standard capacity and high capacity color ink cartridges; save money and resources on both by purchasing the return program cartridges.
The built-in card reader features a PictBridge certified USB port and it is compatible with the following media: Sony Memory Stick, Memory Stick PRO, Secure Digital Card, MultiMediaCard and xD Card (Type M, Type H).
The 150-sheet paper cassette can hold a variety of media in various sizes up to legal size including: card stock, envelopes, labels, transparencies, iron transfers, photo paper, and heavy weight matte paper, among others.
All the connections are located on the back as well as access to the paper path. The Pinnacle offers Ethernet 10/100 BaseTX, Hi-Speed USB 2.0, and 802.11b/g/n wireless.
