Epson announced that its latest addition to the WorkForce line of printers, the WorkForce 520, is the “world’s fastest all-in-one in its class.”
The WorkForce 520’s print speeds of up to 15 ppm in black and 5.4 ppm in color are 50% faster than its peers (inkjet AIO’s priced at $199 or less) based on the latest international standard for print speeds from the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).
The Epson WorkForce 520 offers four devices in one compact machine: print, scan, copy and fax. Epson also includes popular features such as built-in wireless and Ethernet networking, a 30-page automatic document feeder, scan-to PDF and email, a print resolution up to 5760 x 1440 dpi and a scan resolution up to 2400 dpi, five individual DURABrite Ultra inks including two black ink cartridges and Energy Star qualified.
Robynne Lee, product manager for Consumer Ink Jets, Epson America, Inc. said that “by combining the world’s fastest print speeds, built-in wireless printing and scanning, and high performance features, we’ve designed an impressive all-in-one that keeps pace with small business needs.”
The WorkForce 520 will be available in late May on Epson.com for the suggested retail price of $129.99, which includes a one-year limited warranty.
