Samsung released a new monochrome workgroup laser printer - the SCX-5835FN - yesterday morning.
The SCX-5835FN is a network ready 4-in-1 device that allows an entire office to print, copy, scan or fax at their leisure.
It features print speeds up to 35 pages per minute, a seven inch touchscreen display, a monthly duty cycle up to 80,000 pages, a paper tray capacity up to 1,050 pages, built-in duplexing and a 50 page automatic document feeder.
Samsung estimates the cost per page at $0.0159 – less than two cents a page. And the SCX-5835FN boasts security features such as confidential jobs that can only be unlocked with a password.
The Samsung SCX-5835FN is available now on the Samsung website for $1,099.
