HP releases Photosmart B8550 at Photokina

HP also released the Photosmart B8550 Photo Printer on Tuesday at Photokina 2008. The Photosmart B8550 is a home office printer that produces a range of prints from 4 x 6 snapshots to 13 x 19 large-format shots.

Featuring a 5-ink printing system, the Photosmart B8550 uses individual high-capacity cartridges, a print head that is made from recycled HP ink cartridges and HP Vivera inks.

The Photosmart B8550 offers print and copy speeds up to 33 pages per minute, photos in as fast as 18 seconds, a 100-sheet input tray and a 2.4” color display.

It will retail for $299.99 and should be available for purchase in September 2008.
