Canon also unveiled two new imageCLASS single function laser printers in addition to the four new Pixma Wireless Office All-in-One printers announced this morning. The new Canon imageCLASS printers may be the company's fastest single function imageCLASS products to date but they also offer a new level of cost savings thanks to high-yield replacement cartridge, expanded paper capacity and large monthly duty cycles.
The imageCLASS LBP7780Cdn is a single function color laser printer offering print speeds up to 33 ppm in both color and black, a 500-sheet paper cassette with a 100-sheet multi-purpose tray, a monthly duty cycle up to 75,000 pages, automatic duplexing, 5-line LCD, USB direct print and Canon Mobile Printing App.
The imageCLASS LBP6780dn is single function monochrome laser printer offering print speeds up to 42 ppm (fastest print speeds in the entire imageCLASS lineup as of this writing), automatic duplexing, built-in networking, 5-line LCD, USB direct print, 500-sheet paper cassette with 100-sheet multipurpose tray, PCL 53/6 and Adobe PostScript 3 support, monthly duty cycle up to 100,000 sheets and will operate with Windows 8.
The imageCLASS LBP7780Cdn and imageCLASS LBP6780dn are expected to be available in late January for the suggested retail price of $899 and $699, respectively.
