Epson Introduces Exhibition Canvas Natural

Epson America Inc. addressed the professional fine art community with the introduction of three new canvases to its Signature Worthy collection of media.

The new Epson Exhibition Canvas Natural products - Gloss, Satin and Matte - are Optical Brightening Agent (OBA)-Free while stilling meeting the bright whites, deep blacks and wide range of colors demanded by a high-end media and gallery-quality printing.

The three Exhibition Canvas Natural products are available in roll widths of 13, 17, 14, and 44-inches in November. Epson will begin offering 60-inch roll widths and 17" x 22" cut sheets in December.

The three new Canvas media are an acid free, lignin free heavyweight cotton-poly blend. The Exhibition Canvas Natural Gloss features a soft-gloss surface with bright white point, high Dmax and wide color gamut. The Exhibition Canvas Satin features a semi-gloss satin surface and the Exhibition Canvas Matte features a matte, non-reflective surface both media have a bright white point, high Dmax and wide color gamut.

The Epson Exhibition Canvas Natural product canvas base is enhanced with elastic polymers providing high tensile strength and flexibility for gallery wrap stretching without cracking, according to the company.

Epson's Signature Worthy Collection offers a broad range of media for galleries, photographers, artists, fine art reproduction houses, and print-for-pay businesses.
