Epson America Inc. added two new photo scanners, the Epson Perfection V37 and Epson Perfection V370 to its line of Perfection high resolution and flatbed scanners.
These new products offer high quality scans of photos, documents and more. The scanner delivers 4800 x 9600 dpi optical resolution while the exclusive ReadyScan LED technology offers fast scanning with no warm up time.
Both new photo scanner models include Document Capture software and provide easy scan-to-cloud capability to cloud services such as Google Docs, MS SharePoint, and Evernote, for example.
Other features on the V37 and V370 include: ArcSoft Scan-n-Stitch Deluxe Software that allows users to scan legal, A3 and other large-size pages, section by section, then automatically stitch the pieces together. Then Epson's Easy Photo Fix Technology allows users to restore color from old and faded prints, remove dust from scanned film or slides and reduce graininess.
The devices also offer one-touch performance with customizable buttons for scanning, copying, scan-to-email and creating PDFs. A high-rise 180-degree lid enables scanning oversized artwork, 3D objects, photo albums and documents.
The Epson Perfection V370 photo scanner also offers a built-in transparency unit for 35mm film and slides and is compatible with all leading operating systems including the newest versions of Microsoft Windows and Mac OS X, according to the vendor.
Pricing for units are $89.99 for the V37 and $119.99 for the V370.
