Over the past week, Apple has been rolling out updated print and scan drivers for select Canon, Epson, HP and lexmark printers after the release of the updated OS X 10.8.2 Mountain Lion and OS X 10.7.5 Lion. The new drivers are for Apple customers running Macs with later addition operating systems (think Leopards and Lions as opposed to previous feline jungle friends).
For Canon, you'll have version 2.9 which is compatible with OS X Lion or later, Mac OS X10.6.1 or later.
For Epson, you'll have version 2.11 which is compatible with OS X 10.7.5 Lion or Mac OS X 10.6 or later.
For HP, you'll have version 2.11 which is compatible with OS X Mountain Lion, OS X Lion and Mac OS X v 10.6 Snow Leopard or higher.
For Lexmark, you'll have version 2.9 which is compatible with OS X 10.8.2 Mountain Lion, OS X Lion 10.7 or later and Mac OS X 10.6 or later.
All the new drivers can be downloaded via software update on your Mac or through Apple's website.
