Build & Design
The Samsung ML-2165w follows in the footsteps of the ML-1665 - literally - as both units offer super compact footprints measuring in 13 x 9 x 7-inches and weighing less than 10 lbs. But the major difference you'll notice right off the bat is the color; while the ML-1665 featured a matte black exterior, Samsung has given the ML-2165w a two-toned gray exterior. I have to say I preferred the black.
Despite its small stature, the ML-2165w offers an input/output capacity of 150 and 100 sheets, respectively, and a maximum monthly duty cycle of 10,000 pages.
The control panel is barely there consisting of the one-touch Wi-Fi setting, the power key and two LED lights alerting users to the toner/status. But because the ML-2165w can be set up over a wireless connection, customers have access to Samsung's MobilePrint Application from their mobile devices.
As I mentioned previously, the ML-2165w comes with all-in-one toner cartridges with an approximate page yield of 1,500 pages. Just flip open the input tray and lift to access the single black cartridge.
All connections are found on the back of the ML-2165w; this single function printer can be set up via USB or Wireless connection.
