Build & Design
The Photosmart 7510 has a unique new design in black with a large touchscreen and built-in paper trays being the focus points. The device is fairly compact with the approximate dimensions of 18 x 18 x 9-inches in non-use and weighing in less than 20 lbs without consumables.
The 25-sheet automatic document feeder rests on top of the scanner flatbed and it can handle media up to 8.5 x 14-inches compared to the flatbed's maximum scan size of 8.5 x 11.7-inches. The Photosmart 7510 offers an optical scan resolution up to 1200 dpi.
The 4.33-inch adjustable touchscreen doubles as the control panel allowing customers to quickly scroll through the numerous web applications available as well as the multiple devices. There is no front side USB port, but there is a memory card reader that supports Memory Stick Duo, SD and MultiMediaCard.
Lift up underneath the touchscreen to access the five cartridge ink system. The Photosmart 7510 comes with a set of HP 564 series of ink cartridges, but customers can also purchase high capacity 564XL cartridges.
